Specs and renders of the Samsung Galaxy A54 and Samsung Galaxy A34 appeared last month, and today some of them re-emerged, this time with spicy new details worth exploring.
Previous leaks suggested the A34 will have a Dimensity 1080 chip and 8GB RAM, but WinFuture claims we should expect a Mediatek MT6877V chip with 2.2 GHz speeds, which could be Dimensity 900, 920 or 1080 with underclocked CPU. The website also stated Europe will get 6/128GB and 6/256GB memory versions.
Samsung Galaxy A54 and A34 will have only camera bumps
The upcoming midrangers will stick to the new design Samsung is implementing across its whole smartphone portfolio – no camera islands, only circles for the shooters. The new leak revealed the duo will share three colors – Lime Green, Purple, and Black.
The fourth paint job is White for the Galaxy A54, while the Galaxy A34 will be a gradient that changes hues as light hits it from different angles.
Samsung Galaxy A54 & Samsung Galaxy A34
Getting back to the Samsung Galaxy A54, the source did not say anything we haven’t heard before – 6.4” AMOLED panel with 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Selfie camera will have 32MP sensor, while the back hosts 50MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP auxiliary sensor.
The Galaxy A34’s setup is downgraded to 13MP selfie camera and 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 5MP helper at the back.
Both phones will have a 5,000 mAh battery and will be IP67-certified. Expectations are Samsung to host a separate event for the Galaxy A series sometime this month, and the source claimed prices for the midrangers will increase in Europe, just like they did for the Galaxy S23 flagships.
