The POCO M4 5G handset was recently launched in the Indian market. But now, it seems that the company is planning on releasing the device in the global market soon, as it was spotted on a known certification website.
The Chinese smartphone maker’s 5G enabled M4 model is a budget phone. It was just spotted on the NBTC certification database. In this listing, the device carried the model number 22041219PG, so we can expect the global launch to be near. Previously, the handset had even surfaced on other known certification sites like FCC and IMDA databases as well. Unfortunately, the listing did not reveal any other finer details, but the recent Indian launch revealed its entire specifications. So let’s have a look.
The POCO M4 5G sports a 6.58 inch IPS LCD panel that has a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate support as well. This screen also has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. Under the hood, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC that is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded by up to 512GB via a MicroSD card slot.
The smartphone is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 18W fast charging from a USB Type C port. On the rear, it features a dual camera setup, consisting of a 50 megapixel primary shooter and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. Meanwhile, the front houses an 8 megapixel selfie camera. Other features include, Android 12, side mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Since the device was spotted on another certification site, we can expect POCO to announce its official global launch date soon.
