The Lenovo-owned brand has revealed it will be unveiling “something big, something new” on May 10. Hopefully, the company will confirm more details about its upcoming launch event in the next few days.
The Frontier flagship is rumored to come with specs such as a 200-megapixel primary camera and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset. It is expected to launch as an Edge branded phone in China, while it is likely to debut in the global markets with the Edge 30 Ultra moniker. However, it seems too early for the phone to go official on May 10 since Qualcomm is yet to announce the SDG1+ chip.
The Motorola Frontier is expected to arrive with specs like a 6.73-ich OLED FHD+ 144Hz screen with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, a 60-megapixel front camera, and a 200-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultrawide) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera setup. The SD8G1+ chip phone will come with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 125W fast charging.

In China, the Snapdragon 695 powered phone will offer up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage in China. It will come with a 4,700mAh battery and 33W fast charging.
